Training Camp Date

For those of you who are interested, the Jets open training camp on Thursday July 29th. This is later than normal. I remember in previous years the Jets and other teams would start as early as the 16th of July. However, this year the season doesn't start until the Sunday AFTER Labor Day. The NFL started to do that a couple years ago to try to boost the NFL ratings on the first weekend of the season.
